Polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)
Introduction:
Global polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) production is mainly concentrated in a few countries and regions such as China, Japan, among which the Asia-Pacific region is the main production area, accounting for more than 85% of the world’s total production. China is the world’s largest producer of polyvinyl alcohol.
Polyvinyl alcohol is an organic compound with the chemical formula [C2H4O]n. It is a white flake, flocculent or powdery solid and odorless. PVA is an important chemical raw material used to make polyvinyl acetal, gasoline-resistant pipes and vinylon, fabric treatment agents, emulsifiers, paper coatings, adhesives, glues, etc.
