Features
- High melting point: Its melting point is as high as 2852 °C, endowing it with excellent high – temperature resistance.
- High hardness: It has a Mohs hardness of around 5.5, possessing certain mechanical strength.
- Chemical stability: At room temperature, it does not readily react with substances such as water, acids, and alkalis, and reactions only occur under specific conditions.
- Good insulation: It has a high resistivity and is an excellent electrical insulating material.
- Adsorptivity: It has a relatively large specific surface area and has a certain adsorption capacity for some gases and liquids.
Applications
- Refractory materials: It is used to manufacture refractory bricks, refractory crucibles, high – temperature furnace linings, etc., which can withstand high – temperature environments.
- Chemical raw materials: It is an important raw material for preparing other magnesium compounds, such as magnesium hydroxide and magnesium carbonate. It can also be used as a catalyst or catalyst support.
- Pharmaceutical field: It is used as an antacid and laxative, which can neutralize stomach acid and relieve symptoms like stomach pain caused by excessive stomach acid.
- Electronics industry: It is used to make insulating materials for electronic components, playing an insulating and supporting role in integrated circuits, electronic ceramics, etc.
- Rubber industry: As a reinforcing agent and filler for rubber, it can improve the strength, wear resistance, and aging resistance of rubber.
- Water treatment: It can be used to treat acidic wastewater, adjust the pH value of the wastewater, and also adsorb some pollutants in water.
Packing
Packed in 20kg plastic bags or customized
Storage
Store in a dry, well – ventilated place. Keep away from humidity and substances like acids and halogens that can react with it.
Safety Notes
To avoid the different formulation and different raw materials, please do more testing before using it.
