Introduction:
Acrylic acid is an organic compound, the simplest unsaturated fatty acid, with the chemical formula C3H4O2. It is a colorless liquid with a pungent odor at room temperature and pressure. It is easily soluble in water (miscible), ethanol, ether, etc.
After more than 30 years of process research and industrial practice, the technology of preparing acrylic acid using a two-stage fixed-bed gas-phase oxidation process has reached a highly mature stage.
At present, China’s acrylic acid production capacity accounts for nearly 40% of the world’s total production capacity.

- Acrylic acid is one of the important raw materials of water-soluble polymer, and grafting copolymerization with starch can produce super strong water absorbing agent;
Applications:
- Acrylic acid is mainly used to prepare super absorbent polymer (SAP) represented by acrylic resin, especially sanitary products such as sanitary napkins and diapers.
- Acrylic acid is also used to prepare acrylic esters, which have excellent heat and water resistance and are widely used in coatings, adhesives and other industries.
- Acrylic acid is also used in sewage treatment and cleaning agents.

Storage:
Store in cool place. Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Containers which are opened must be carefully resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage.
