Introduction:
Sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, also known as carboxymethyl cellulose sodium salt, carboxymethyl cellulose CMC. Its aqueous solution has functions such as thickening, film-forming, water retention, colloid protection, emulsification, and suspension, and is applied in industries such as textiles, papermaking, and food. Carboxymethyl cellulose sodium is a white or milky white fibrous powder or particle with a density of 0.5-0.7 grams per cubic centimeter, odorless, and hygroscopic. Disperse in water to form a transparent gel like solution that is insoluble in ethanol, etc. For thermal stability, viscosity increases below 20C, changes slowly at 45 ℃, and prolonged heating above 80 ° C can cause colloid denaturation while viscosity and performance decrease. CMC is an emulsion stabilizer and thickener in food applications, and has freezing and thawing properties.

Applications:

Storage:
Store it in a cool, dry place below 30°C and protected against humidity and pressing, the goods is thermoplastic, storage time should not exceed 36 months.
